Terms and Conditions
No contract will exist between WFH Timber buildings and the customer until such time as we receive a signed copy of the order and deposit payment to confirm all details and acceptance of our terms and conditions Shipping and Handling
Should you have any concerns please contact a member of our sales team on 01920 468836. If customer cannot take delivery direct from Lugarde, alternative transportation can be arranged but will incur additional cost. The vehicles used will not have a facility to lift the packages off, so buildings have to be offloaded manually, and customers will be required to assist with this process. Delivery Costs
Installation
In the event of missing, damaged or incorrect parts then WFH Timber buildings will endeavour to rectify the problem as quickly as possible, but if parts have to be sent from abroad we may not be able to solve the problem immediately. If this is the case, our installations co-ordinator will contact you and arrange a revisit once parts have been made available. Under no circumstances will WFH Timber buildings accept responsibility for delay in installation due to faulty or missing parts as this is deemed out of our control. Neither will we accept any resulting claim for compensation made against our company. However we will ensure that everything is done to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Installations are arranged usually within 7 working days of delivery of the building to our premises. Our staff will contact you 1 week prior to delivery to confirm erection date. This is subject to change at short notice due to any situation beyond our control. However, we will endeavour to contact you and keep you well informed regarding any changes to installation dates. Under no circumstances will WFH Timber buildings accept responsibility for delay in installation due to situations beyond our control, nor will we accept any resulting claims for compensation. As most of our installations are carried out using one of our own vehicles (Transit van size), it is imperative that the vehicle be able to park outside the customer’s property, and access to the installation site must be reasonable and free of obstacles. On arrival, if we are unable to install the building due to obstructed or difficult access, the customer will be charged an extra £300 per day for the duration of the delay. If we have to leave site, the customer will be charged an additional £500 to revisit. Although we will do our best to co-operate, we cannot guarantee that we can return to site on a timescale to suit the customer, as other work may have been scheduled in. Please contact one of our sales team on 01920 468836 should you have concerns regarding access for your installation as we can arrange to send extra staff and smaller vehicles (which could also incur additional costs). Foundations for buildings where WFH Timber buildings have not installed the base, must be level and sufficiently stable to take the weight of the building (please contact one of our sales team on 01920 468836 for additional information). Ideally the base should be constructed of concrete, paving slabs or timber decking. Please ensure you leave sufficient room around your building to allow for the overhangs on the roof, which also allows you space to maintain the building. Customers who do not allow for the overhang of the roof may find that the building encroaches on their neighbour’s property and in most cases we will be unable to erect the building. On arrival, if customer bases are found not to be flat and level, we may find we are unable to install the building without the use of packing, and this invalidates the manufacturer’s guarantee. Should the installation team decide that the base is unsuitable and the building cannot be erected, the customer will be charged an extra £300 per day for the duration of the delay. If we have to leave site, the customer will be charged an additional £500 to revisit to install the building once the base has been brought up to acceptable standards. Although we will do our best to co-operate, we cannot guarantee that we can return to site on a timescale to suit the customer, as other work may have been scheduled in. Delivery Schedule
Free Planning consent drawing service An admin charge of £125 will be charged should the agreement to buy from WFH buildings be withdrawn. Guarantee
WFH Timber buildings’ installation guarantee is for 12 months on any replacement part supplied by the manufacturer and will be carried out by our installation team. Damage caused by people, animal or force of nature are not covered under the guarantee. WFH Timber buildings reserve the right to invalidate their guarantee for building installed at customer request on an un-level base. Any works carried out with parts supplied by the manufacturer after a period of 12 months from invoice date will incur a charge for labour costs only. Contacting Us
